How long can I hire a skip for?
Our standard hire is from one day up to two weeks, but if you think you might need the skip for longer than this, please let us know when enquiring, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We also offer skip exchange so that you can continue using your skip without interruption. We will collect your full skip and drop off an empty one at the same time.
What can we put in the skip
When you hire a skip, it is important to understand what you can dispose of. The majority of everyday household and garden waste can be disposed of in your skip, this includes plastic and cardboard packaging, wooden items, metal items, and usual garden waste such as soil, stone, sand, plant waste and bricks.
It is probably easier to discuss what can’t be disposed of in your skip, which includes:
As for plasterboard and glass, we can take small amounts in a domestic skip, however a dedicated plasterboard or glass skip hire can be provided when required for larger amounts.
If you are in any doubt about what you can dispose of then please just contact us or ask when making your booking and our team will be happy to help.
